True to our founding principles of offering an outstanding education; we offer GCSEs, an exceptional range of co-curricular activities and an IB-only Sixth Form.  Our recognised Yorkshire Grit programme is a vital part of our curriculum, providing challenges beyond the classroom and an opportunity for pupils to become resilient, collaborative and compassionate individuals.

Sports play a central role in the College. Hockey and rugby as representative sports and the College has two Centres of Excellence – cricket and golf – for boys and girls who are committed to train and perform at a higher level.

Following recent investments, Scarborough College’s boarding facilities rank among the very best in the country.  In addition to a Junior Boys and a Junior Boys House, the College boasts a flagship co-ed Sixth Form house.  While the boarding houses are comfortable and modern, including underfloor heating and bespoke modern furniture, the atmosphere within them is homely, caring and happy.
